Liana and Robert’s Country Club Wedding! *Tampa Wedding Photographer*
shaynicole on Oct 30th 2010
Where I spent the last 7 years of my life you hear a lot of “ya’ll”s and seeing barns and cows was a daily occurrence (although somehow we managed to be surrounded by cows once again here in FL!). The up side to that was that I shot a lot of real down home southern weddings. The kind of weddings that take place in barns, serve sweet tea and lemonade and involve decorating with mason jars, wildflowers and twine. Oh, Virginia…sniff sniff. Sadly, this far south it is actually harder to find those backyard weddings with that woodsy charm. Don’t get me wrong, I love a beautiful sunset beach wedding but I was understandably excited when I sat down with Liana and heard about all of their plans for a outdoorsy-chic wedding complete with paper lanterns, dried lavender place settings and lots of backyard charm. The setting was the beautiful Hunter’s Green Country Club in Tampa. The ceremony was set on a small hill overlooking the beautiful golf course nestled among huge green Oak trees dripping with moss. Liana wore a classic and charming lace strapless dress and the groomsmen wore chocolate brown tuxes (the groom wore cowboy boots!) all keeping with the theme. The reception hall had an entire wall of windows overlooking the greens which brought the outdoors – indoors as the sun set behind the celebration. It was a lovely night with a lovely couple and I so much enjoyed being a part of it! Here are a few images from their big day!

A wedding close to home and a Chloe post
shaynicole on Oct 13th 2010
Last week I had the incredible pleasure of going back to VA to watch my brother Will marry his high school sweet heart and girlfriend of 7 years. Having been married for 5 years this month to my best friend, it is hard to even put into words how profound it is that God brings two people together as teammates for His glory and their holiness and happiness (in that order most likely). Needless to say I was pretty much a basket case of tears from the moment that we touched down in VA. I am so proud of them both and so excited for their future together.
Regretfully, I didn’t bring my camera…you see, I have a problem….if I bring my camera to an event like this then I spend the entire time behind the camera and miss out on being a part of the actual memory itself. So I had to do it. I had to leave the camera here. I wanted to remember being a part of every moment and had to just trust that their photographer would do a great job of capturing the day. I do regret it a little bit though….ugh.
To add randomly to that, I thought I would share a few recent shots of Chloe from last Sunday morning at church. I love her and her head full of messy curls:)

Enough mom!!
