Yesterday I had the pleasure of doing a mini-session with the newest addition to the Fennig family.  I had the pleasure of meeting Abby, who is a fellow photographer-enthusiast, a few months after we moved down here  and since then we have become great friends with this wonderful family.  Seriously, my own daughter doesn’t have pictures this cute!   Here are a few of my favs for you to enjoy!

Lat week Graham’s brother Wes joined the long gray line.  Congrats on your graduation from West Point Wes.  We love you!

While in VA I did a fun little mini session with the Killian family! Amy and I went to high school together and she is actually a talented photographer herself which made it all the  more special when she asked me to do this shoot for her.  It was a long time coming as we had to schedule the shoot while I was in VA visiting family but I think it was worth it.  We did the shoot in a simple little park near the Mariners Museum in Newport News.  In addition to getting a more “formal” family portrait I wanted to get some shots that portrayed a fun sun-soaked summer evening.  It is really fun to experiment with the completely different feel and drama your images can have based on the way that you use the available light! Here is a little peak at some of the images from the shoot!

Leaving for NY today for another week to celebrate Wes’s (Graham’ brother) graduation!  Hopefully I will get a few fun pics while I’m there!
