New Sneak Peak!

shaycochrane on Nov 26th 2007

I have the pleasure of being good friends with and serving alongside this awesome couple at Aletheia church. Ace and April have actually been married for a little over a year already but took the opportunity to get a free portrait done for making a wedding referral (Thanks guys!). Not only have they been happily married for over a year but they started dating when they were only 14!! This is such a talented and sweet couple who get their joy out of serving others and my husband and I are honored to be able to call them friends. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from their shoot in downtown Harrisonburg.

Elizabeth and Aaron

shaycochrane on Nov 25th 2007

Last Sunday I had the privilege of photographing Elizabeth Bibb and Aaron Martens who are engaged and planning an April wedding. Both are from the area and both share a love for animals, especially horses (She is a vet and he trains horses)! For their engagement shoot we went out to Aaron’s family’s farm and had acres and acres of land to run around on! These are two of the most down to earth people and it was a pleasure to meet their families as well! Here are a few pics from their engagement shoot! Enjoy!

Krystal and David

shaycochrane on Nov 25th 2007

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of meeting one of the sweetest (and most handsome) couples ever. Krystal works in student affairs as a Hall Director for Christopher Newport University (which happens to be in my hometown) and David is a 9th grade Science teacher. As individuals they are like night and day..he is the laid back introvert and she is the energetic extrovert but together they are a perfect match! We had so much fun on their shoot! Since they met at JMU we incorporated the campus into their engagement portraits. One thing that makes this couple so awesome is their heart for God and others! Christ’s love and joy radiates from them and is so evident in the way that they relate to each other. Here you will find a few fun pictures from their portrait session. Enjoy!

I love bridal portraits!

shaycochrane on Nov 25th 2007

think Bridal portraits are some of my favorite photo sessions. They present a great opportunity to create dramatic images. It also helps when the bride is as beautiful as some of the gorgeous ladies that I have had the pleasure of photographing! Here are a few bridal portraits from a session with the beautiful Amanda Cowgill.amanda_bridal_edit-200.jpg
